Paintings & Sketches

Most artworks are created from client-supplied photos. One good photo is often enough, but extras help - especially for multi-subject pieces, where I can combine images to create the final composition.

Turnaround: Typically 3-4 weeks. Oil paintings may need an extra 2 weeks for drying. Let me know if you have a specific deadline—I'll do my best to meet it.

Once complete, I’ll share a preview for your approval. Minor changes can be made at this stage, with a final image sent before delivery. Payment is due upon approval. For large projects, a deposit or interim payment may be required. Consultations are always free.

Illustrations

The process is similar, but pricing depends on usage. When requesting a quote, please include:

• Intended use (e.g. editorial, web, packaging)

• Regions where it will be used (e.g. UK, Europe, global)

If you have a budget in mind, let me know - it’s a helpful starting point.

Turnaround: Usually 2–3 weeks. Tight deadline? I’ll try to accommodate.

Pricing

Use the artwork cost calculator below for a rough guide to pricing. Shipping costs are additional. For clients in Scotland, I can sometimes arrange hand delivery and framing for original paintings and drawings.

Quotes are flexible - if something’s over budget, just let me know and we can explore options.
